The Case File

The Case File has been created to make these complex proceedings clear, accessible and easy to follow.

At its centre is a comprehensive guiding document and visual chronology, designed to be read alongside the numbered court documents provided below. Rather than presenting hundreds of pages of legal material without context, the guide takes you through the proceedings in order—explaining what each document is, when it appeared, what happened at each stage, and how the case developed to reach the substantive hearing on 22 October 2026.

The numbered references in the guide correspond directly with the documents in the Case File below, allowing you to move easily between the explanation and the original material. You can therefore follow the story of the proceedings while also examining the underlying court documents for yourself.

This is a living Case File and will continue to grow. For now, we have included the documents most relevant to understanding the development and current position of the case. All documents have been translated into English. Further documents and supporting material will be added over time as we build a comprehensive public record of the proceedings.

Case File Documents

The documents below are numbered for cross-reference with the Case File Guide.

You are reading English translations of documents originally written and served on the Court in Dutch. Every effort has been made to ensure these translations are reliable and accurately reflect the original documents; however, some minor differences or linguistic nuances may arise through translation. The original Dutch documents remain the source documents.

More case file documents will be added here. Translating, reviewing and making the necessary redactions takes time — particularly when one person is painstakingly building this entire public archive! Please bear with us as we work to make the Case File as complete, accessible and transparent as possible.

More coming soon: we're working hard on more translations!
